Welcome to the Elon University Community Garden!
Whether you grew up gardening or have never gardened before there is a place for you at the Elon Community Garden. We offer classes at the garden where you can learn how to grow your own plants and maintain your own plot. We also have a Garden Club where you can make new friends with similar interest to you and form connections while learning how to properly care for plants. The Elon Community Garden also holds two major festivals throughout the year. The Pumpkin Festival is typically held on the last Friday of October and offers pumpkin carving, food, games and activities, and space to hang out with friends and enjoy the peak of autumn. The Strawberry Festival and Plant Adoption Event is held at the beginning of May and has food, activities, and fun, as well as the opportunity to adopt plants such as Tomatoes, Peppers, Herbs, and Flowers. We hope to see you at the garden soon!

Elon Community Garden Club
The Elon Community Garden Club is an extension of the garden. No prior gardening experience is required in order to join. We hold meetings and events twice a month and offer the opportunity for members to come to work sessions to help us out with beautifying the garden by pulling weeds or planting new plants in open spaces around the garden. We hope you consider joining.
