Cinnamon Basil is known for its unique, warm cinnamon and anise flavoring. This basil is also referred to as Mexican Spice Basil, because it is thought to have originated in Mexico. Cinnamon Basil is often used in Mexican cuisine and works well in fruit salads, desserts, tea, and savory preparations. Cinnamon basil contains many vitamins and minerals and attracts a wide range of pollinators. This rare basil grows quickly at 18-30 inches tall, with deep green leaves, rich purple stems, and light pink flowers in the late summer.
