This is much different from our tomato offerings as the Purple Tomatillo turns purple with full sun exposure and ripens on the plant. The plant can grow up 4 feet tall in a span of 70-85 days, producing a small round fruit with deep purple skin and papery husk. This tomatillo is sweeter than green tomatillos when ripened. Bees will love you, especially if you plant at least two for cross-pollination.
